Winchester, VA Quarles Fuels Office Participates in Toys for Tots

Our Superior family of brands loves to give back to the communities we call home.  This holiday season, our Winchester, VA location is participating in Toys for Tots, a longstanding toy drive run by the Marine Corps.

What is Toys for Tots?

The Toys for Tots program is a national holiday toy drive created by the U.S Marine Corps in 1991 to collect new, unwrapped toys for lower income children.  The Marines work with local businesses and individuals to collect the toys during the months of October, November, and December every year.  Local businesses volunteer to serve as toy donation stations during those three months. The toys are then distributed near the end of December to children residing in the communities in which the toys were collected.

In the Winchester, VA area alone last year, Toys for Tots was able to collect and distribute over 62,000 toys to nearly 9,500 children (Home – Toys for Tots)!

Quarles Fuels, Winchester, VA

Recognizing the importance of this program, this year our Winchester, VA office of Quarles Fuels has volunteered as a toy donation station for the Toys for Tots program. After seeing the impact Toys for Tots had in their community last holiday season, the Winchester office became a drop off station this October. Now through December 21, 2023, anyone can bring in a new, unwrapped toy to the office during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm) for donation to Toys for Tots.  The office is located at 811 Smithfield Avenue in Winchester, VA.
